Tricia Batoha – President
Tricia Batoha is a highly experienced moderator and facilitator with an exceptional record of success defining, innovating, and executing market research initiatives across diverse methodologies and industries.
Tricia is a trusted business partner who is highly attuned to customer and business needs. She excels at distilling large amounts of data into relevant and actionable insights that optimize executive decision making and strengthen brand, design, and product initiatives.
Having been on the client-side for much of her career, she understands firsthand the challenges organizations face and the pressures to deliver. Prior to rejoining BRG, Tricia worked as VP of Insights at Stellantis (formerly FCA/Chrysler) where she was selected as Automotive News Rising Star and made positive impacts on numerous designs, features and services. She also worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield MI, where she led Customer Experience initiatives.
Prior to her client-side experience, Tricia worked at Morpace International and Business Research Group, specializing in financial services, healthcare, entertainment and consumer goods.
Tricia serves on the board and guest lectures at MSU Broad Master’s of Market Research program. She also loves to travel with her husband and kids, spend time outdoors and hang out with her pup.
Barb McNamara – Senior Analyst
Barb is a highly knowledgeable marketing research professional with over 30 years of experience, both on the client and supplier side.
Holding a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Marketing Research degree from the University of Georgia, Barb has used her education and experience to become a trusted research partner.
Barb has extensive experience in a wide variety of industries including automotive (both client and supplier side), health care, financial services, consumer products and services, insurance, marine and education.
During her career Barb has adapted to the ever-changing needs of clients, often utilizing creative research techniques to meet client objectives. She brings her attention to detail to project management and is responsive to her client needs from start to finish. She works closely with clients to provide fact-based actionable reports.
Barb began her marketing research career as a market research analyst with General Motors. Following her time on the client side, she moved to the supplier side as a senior project manager with Gongos Research prior to joining BRG.
Brittany Mallory – Consultant
Brittany is currently a PhD candidate in management at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where she uses advanced quantitative empirical approaches to study human capital in high-growth organizations.
Brittany has over 15 years in marketing research using both quantitative and qualitative approaches in a variety of industries, including healthcare, consumer products, and advertising, among others.
She also has experience in research labs at the Ross Business School at the University of Michigan, University of Michigan psychology department, and the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University.
Brittany holds a MS in business management from Wharton and a BA in psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Sylviane Mayer – Market Research Consultant
Sylviane has over 25 years of experience in B2B /B2C marketing research and product planning across the automotive and EV startup sectors.
She is a strategic and creative thinker with a strong reputation for driving sales growth and innovative product solutions through actionable market and customer insights. She is an expert in conducting consumer, market and strategic research projects and is uniquely skilled at connecting diverse data points and insights to stimulate strategic thinking and innovative product solutions that resonate deeply with consumers.
Sylviane recently spent 5 years at Rivian in Product Planning and Product Research Analytics where she influenced the contenting and strategy for their R1S, R1T and future vehicles. Her research and industry knowledge guided critical decisions on customer appeal, feature prioritization/trade-offs, competitive differentiation, and pricing strategies.
Prior to Rivian, she spent over two decades at Johnson Controls/Adient, where she launched and managed a global consumer and market intelligence department with teams in the U.S., Germany, China, and India. She guided product development and strategic initiatives and leveraged her Product Planning process to effectively collaborate with internal teams and OEMs including GM, Ford, Chrysler/Stellantis, Rivian, Tesla, Honda, Toyota and others.
Originally from France, Sylviane has also worked in Germany before moving to the U.S. 25 years ago. Outside of work, she cherishes her role as a mom and partner. She loves to travel to explore new cultures and spend quality time with her family and friends in France and Germany.
Jeannette Saquet – Founder, Sr. Advisor
Over 20 years experience in marketing, public opinion and business research, and education.
National reputation facilitating groups for decision-making, training, leadership development and market research purposes using innovative methods.
Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology/Anthropology with emphasis in Applied Research from Northeastern University and B.A. in Sociology from George Washington University.
Prior to establishing BRG, Dr. Saquet was Research Manager at AT&T, Director of Research at the Sandy Corporation, Vice President at Yee/Minard & Associates and Senior Research Executive at Wirthlin Worldwide.
Leadership Oakland graduate and continuing involvement on Board of Directors, developing leadership development retreats, redesigning curriculum and alumni retention programs.
Appointed to review panel for the U. S. Department of Education’s prestigious Jacob K. Javits graduate fellowship program; Social Science Section chair.
Member Board of Directors of A Vision for Clean Water.
Co-founder and Facilitator of Metro Film Lovers (since 1993) and Michigan Opera Theatre volunteer.
